The nose is spicy and a little closed. There are notes of Sichuan pepper, lily and more slightly ripe black berries combined with a hint of camphor/incense and bergamot. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers roundness as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed currant and more slightly pulpy raspberry combined with touches of blueberry, tonka bean and a discreet hint of cardamom and camphor.
