The nose is fruity, creamy, gourmet and offers a fine, almost iodine-like character. There are notes of blackberry liqueur, crushed blackcurrant and, more slightly, crushed strawberry, combined with hints of vanilla, blueberry and a fine, almost blue-fruit and hazelnut character. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, acidity, a certain gourmandise, an acidic frame, minerality, roundness, a saline/salivating side, a nice dynamism as well as a fine airy/tight side in its richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly redcurrant combined with hints of creamy berries, vanilla, lily, violet and hints of chocolate, vanilla and toast. The tannins are supple and salivating. Good length. A lovely, fruity wine.
