The nose is fresh, tight-knit and offers some power and concentration. There are notes of fresh blackberry, crisp raspberry and wild red berries combined with hints of fresh pepper, fresh nutmeg and a subtle hint of fresh leather. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a fine creaminess, some gourmandise and a fine airiness in its creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart/fresh blackberry, redcurrant and more slightly creamy berries combined with hints of fresh lily, fresh iris, chocolate and a subtle touch of fresh tobacco. Good length.
