Château Bouscaut Grand Cru Classé de Graves 2020 – Pessac-Léognan

The wine has a lemon color of medium intensity. The nose is a bit reserved, but refined: there are lots of flowers (acacia, honeysuckle, apple blossom and apricot), citrus fruits and stone fruits (ripe lemon, orange zest, bitter orange, yellow peach, apricot), as well as delicate and integrated woody and milky notes (vanilla, brioche, toast). On the palate, the wine is gourmand, with a round, buttery texture and sweet flavors of juicy yellow peach, a hint of mango, pineapple, vanilla, honey and acacia. The finish is long, with a lively and pleasant acidity and with pronounced lemony notes (yellow lemon, lemon zest) and good bitterness, which ends on sweet notes of exotic fruits. Nice complexity, freshness and great concentration on the palate. A refined wine with good aging potential.
