The nose is fruity, elegant and offers complexity as well as a delicacy and charm in its aromatics. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, bright cherry and slight notes of crushed berries associated with touches of violet, racy/saline minerality as well as slight hints of cornflower, sweet blond tobacco, a discreet almost varietal hint and pepper. The palate is fruity, a bit chiselled and offers juiciness, smoothness, an acid frame, minerality, energy, as well as delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, crunchy cherry and slight notes of cornflower/iris associated with touches of small red berries as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. Presence of a very discreet varietal hint in the background which brings peps to the finish. A subtle hint almost eucalyptus on the persistence.
