The nose is elegant, precise and offers depth, a certain concentration, a nice airy side as well as a discreetly tight grain (in this moment). It reveals notes of small black berries, camphor and slight note of lily associated with touches of Madagascar pepper, blackberry as well as hints of toast, a discreet hint of fresh tobacco and a very discreet hint of roast. The palate is mineral, racy and offers freshness, good definition, a certain accuracy, tension, precision, sharpness, energy, delicacy in its power as well as depth. A nice silkiness and smoothness, but with freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small fresh/pulpy black berries and slight hints of fairly ripe raspberry associated with touches of star anise, sweet blond tobacco, cardamom and a hint of roasted cherry , with hints of toast, mocha, camphor, mocha and a discreet hint of spices (a hint of Malbec?). The tannins are precise, elegant and racy.
