The nose is racy, flowery and a bit tight. The wine deserves to be decanted. It reveals notes of violet, rose and slight notes of blackberry associated with touches of pepper as well as fine hints of graphite, sweet spices and an imperceptible almost smoky hint (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy structure, suppleness and some fattiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and slight hints of violet associated with touches of rose, hints of small red berries as well as slight hints of fresh blond tobacco, graphite and nutmeg. The tannins are discreetly soft.
