The nose is spicy, aromatic and offers intensity as well as a certain suppleness. It reveals notes of crunchy red cherry, wild blackberry and pepper associated with touches of small wild berries and spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acid frame, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandise, a fine creaminess as well as accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cherry and slight notes of violet associated with touches of creamy blackcurrant as well as hints of lily, fresh blond tobacco, cherry blossoms, zan and with a hint of vanilla bean. The tannins are supple. Good length.
