The wine deserves to be decanted. It offers a fine spiciness, a fine solar notes as well as a fairly ripe fruit. It reveals aromas of pulpy/ripe blackcurrant, purple plum and slight hints of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of bergamot, fairly ripe red berries, sweet spices and a slight hint of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity, a bit tight and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, a fresh/mineral frame, good definition, a certain density as well as good work on the good bitters. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cornflower and slight hints of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of graphite, saline minerality, quite ripe small red fruits as well as a hint of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom. A wine that needs time.
