The nose is spicy, tense and offers a controlled power as well as some stretchiness. It reveals notes of violet, Sichuan pepper and slight notes of blackberry associated with touches of small blue fruits, blackcurrant and spices. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a racy minerality as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy blackberry, lily and slight notes of small juicy/fresh red berries associated with touches of crunchy cherry as well as a hint almost of fresh tobacco and an imperceptible hint of almost laurel berries.
