The nose is fruity and offers a certain depth, spiciness as well as a discreetly tight grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, violet/peony and slight notes of fairly ripe berries (even almost cooked) associated with touches of cornflower, licorice stick as well as a hint of graphite and a discreet hint of pepper in the background. The palate is fresh, mineral, chiseled and offers energy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, bright raspberry and slight notes of small juicy/fresh red berries associated with a touch of blueberry, violet/lily as well as a hint of licorice stick and lilac. Good length. Sapidity and well-managed good bitters. A subtle hint of variety on the finish. A discreet chewiness on the aftertaste.
