(Organic) The nose is spicy and offers some airiness, a fine intensity and a fine, delicate grain. There are notes of creamy blackberry, crushed black plum and more slightly ripe/crushed red berries combined with hints of liquorice stick, sweet tobacco and chocolate. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, acidity, good definition, tension, accuracy, gourmandise, a certain finesse in its richness as well as some airiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crushed blackcurrant and, more slightly, crushed raspberry, combined with hints of fleshy/pulpy black plum, chocolate, blond tobacco and a hint of toasted almond. The tannins are supple and sapid. A very discreet, almost coffee-like finish.
