Clos Puy Arnaud 2020 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

(Biodynamic) The nose is fruity, gourmet and offers some depth and some creaminess. There are notes of blackberry cream and more slightly blueberry, combined with hints of crushed strawberry, creamy blue berries, Bourbon vanilla and a subtle, almost sappy, hint of sweet tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, acidity, gourmandise, juiciness, acidity, tension, finesse and a certain creaminess in the finish. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crushed blackcurrant and, more slightly, blueberry, combined with hints of tart blueberry, red berries, fine Bourbon vanilla, lily and a subtle, almost balsamic touch (in the background) and sweet spices. The tannins are supple.
