The wine has a ruby colour of medium intensity. The nose is round, juicy, concentrated and refined. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, Morello cherry, fresh blackcurrant, wild blackberry, wild strawberry and raspberry coulis, delicate and fresh herbaceous touches (peppermint, chopped rosemary sprig, roasted thyme) with a fine savoury, smoky and roasted background (roasted meat, sweet ground coffee, roasted hazelnut, fresh roasted almond). On the palate, the wine offers juiciness and a good grip thanks to its firm tannic structure and a generous fruitiness on the palate. It expresses generous but fresh flavours of morello cherry, blackberry, blueberry, red cherry, wild strawberry and roasted raspberry, accompanied by hints of sweet spice (cinnamon, liquorice, white pepper), roast (roasted hazelnut and almond, sweet ground coffee), as well as dried flowers (cornflower, rose petal, violet), roasted herbs (thyme, rosemary) and roasted meat on the finish. The tannins are fine, but young and grippy, with a firm structure that should soften with age. Good length and lively acidity on the finish.
