The nose is aromatic and expresses notes of morello cherry, cherry, blackcurrant and redcurrant, associated with sweet spices (licorice, a very fine touch of cinnamon) and dried herbs. The palate offers tension (the tannins are dry and firm) as well as notes of juicy fruit (red cherry, strawberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant). The finish is moderately long, but fresh.
