Château Doisy Daëne 2022 – Barsac, Grand Cru Classé

Nice fresh nose, mineral, racy and offers a little spicy side. We find notes of kumquat, fresh/juicy yellow peach and more slightly – fresh pineapple associated with touches of zest, spices, saffron (on its flowery side), verbena/herbal tea, with discreet hints. spices as well as a subtle, almost sappy hint of dried almond (in the background) and racy minerality. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers minerality, freshness, a nice definition, a tangy frame, tension, a beautiful energy, a nice incisive/frank side, purity as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, zest and more slightly – racy minerality associated with touches of crunchy green apple, hints of tangy small fruits, roasted pineapple as well as fine, almost honeyed hints, of spices and a very discreet hint of iodine (in the background).
