Lovely elegant nose, powerful, airy, spicy and offers delicacy in its power, a very beautiful freshness, amplitude as well as power in subtlety. We find notes of wild blackberry, small, nicely dense (but fresh) black berries, star anise and more lightly small roasted fruits associated with touches of camphor, hints of fresh Cubeb pepper as well as delicate hints of infusion and almost aromatic herbs. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, gourmand, full, round and offers richness, a nice structure, a nice suppleness as well as a certain power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small, bright black fruits, Bigarreau cherry and more slightly camphor associated with touches of mocha, aromatic herbs as well as hints of bergamot/infusion, sweet spices and a subtle varietal hint (in the background). Good job on the pretty bitters. A seductive and suave side of Cabernet Franc which highlights the fruit.
