The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, gourmand, nicely precise and offers a fine spicy side as well as a very fine straightness. We find notes of boysenberry, small pulpy wild fruits and small notes of fresh lily associated with touches of fresh pepper, small dense fruits as well as a hint of camphor, saffron (on its flowery side), toast and racy minerality. The palate is fresh, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, gourmandise, a certain shine, an airy side, a lovely purity/definition as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/juicy cherry, blackcurrant and small notes of small bright/juicy red berries associated with touches of violet, lily as well as hints of fresh liquorice and fine hints of chocolate. The tannins are elegant, soft and precise.
