Les Griffons de Pichon Baron 2022 – Pauillac

A lovely fresh and nicely racy nose, which offers a certain little power and amplitude. It expresses notes of tonka bean, crushed blackberry and more slightly – small, fairly ripe black fruits, associated with fine touches of pepper, fresh nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco and has a very discreet hint of spices. The log is nicely made, and offers brightness, a very nice freshness, juiciness, and expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fresh/bright raspberry and more slightly – fresh/bright cherry associated with touches racy minerality, violet as well as hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, sweet blond tobacco and a hint of toasted almond. Beautiful freshness and energy. A fine chew and a slight softness on the finish.
