The nose is mineral, racy and offers a fine peppery hint. It expresses notes of pulpy/fresh boysenberry, racy minerality and more slightly – small wild blue fruits, associated with touches of fresh wild raspberry as well as hints of star anise and pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers elegance, lovely definition, lovely juiciness and pulpiness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cherry and more slightly – bright raspberry, associated with touches of violet, racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of licorice stick, chocolate and fine hints of bergamot in the background. The tannins are fresh, sapid and smooth. A fine chew and gourmandise.
