The nose is juicy and concentrated. It expresses notes of ripe morello cherry, black plum, wild blackberry, wild strawberry and tart red cherry, combined with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, roasted hazelnut (in the background), dried mint and licorice. There are also fine touches of violet and peony. The palate is delicate and silky on the attack. The tannins are well built, fine, but structured, firm on the finish. The flavors are juicy, ripe and fruity. We find notes of bigarreau cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, wild blackberry and black plum, associated with touches of dried mint, licorice, a fine hint of cocoa and sweet coffee, as well as an elegant floral bouquet (rose petals, violet). In the end, we find the freshness and juiciness of tangy red fruits. A wine with subtlety and good potential.
