The nose offers maturity and slightly sweet notes. It expresses the aromas of fresh blackcurrant, red cherry jam, fresh morello cherry, crushed strawberry and raspberry coulis, combined with notes of bitter cocoa, wild mint, licorice, nutmeg, as well as very light mineral touches (graphite) and toasted notes. On the palate, there is precision and juiciness. The wine expresses flavors of black plum, morello cherry, roasted red cherry, fresh strawberry and raspberry coulis, accompanied by notes of wild mint, cinnamon (in the background), fresh vanilla and violet. Very nice refreshing acidity and a refined, but firm tannin structure. Good length and good hold with a delicate bitterness on the finish.
