The nose offers accuracy and a certain complexity. It expresses notes of fresh and dried blackcurrant, morello cherry, strawberry, red cherry and black plum, combined with notes of peppermint, black pepper, sweet coffee and cornflower. On the palate, the wine is firm and has a tight tannin structure and a fine, but drying tannin texture. We find flavors of tart red cherry, strawberry, morello cherry, red plum, white pepper, dried mint as well as a floral touch of dried cornflower. The mid-palate is juicy and fruity, and the finish is quite persistent, with a nice acidity.
