Château Les Clottiers 2022 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is discreet, but juicy and very fruity. It offers notes of bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, black plum, a touch of fresh blackcurrant and blueberry, combined with notes of fresh mint, licorice, violet, peony, as well as a very light note of vanilla in the background. On the palate, the wine is juicy, round and offers generous flavors of red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant and wild strawberry, complemented by spicy (white pepper, clove, licorice) and floral notes (violet, peony). The tannins are fine, a little dry in the finish. Beautiful refreshing acidity, with a certain persistence, especially on fresh fruit. Freshness and fluidity (in a good way).
