Château du Parc 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is reserved, but offers a certain complexity. It expresses notes of morello cherry, wild strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, combined with chocolate and spicy touches (cocoa, licorice, a hint of vanilla), as well as delicate floral notes (lily, dried cornflower), herbaceous (dried mint) and mineral (graphite). On the palate, we find fruity richness and a chiseled side. The wine expresses notes of morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant, wild strawberry and red cherry, complemented by touches of spices (licorice, cloves), dried mint and flowers (lily, dried cornflower) with a slight hint of cocoa powder. The tannins are tight and astringent. Good acidity, which balances the dry side of tannins on the finish.
