The nose is fruity, ripe, with pleasant tangy notes of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, bigarreau cherry), a hint of blueberry and morello cherry, as well as delicate touches of cornflower, lily, white pepper and cloves. The mouth is silky, enveloping and concentrated. The wine offers precision and great concentration. It expresses the flavors of ripe morello cherry, strawberry, raspberry coulis, crunchy black plum, blackberry, accompanied by touches of sweet spices (cinnamon, and more slightly – vanilla), bitter cocoa and flowers (cornflower). The tannins are velvety and firm: the wine has a well-built structure, balanced and enveloped in a fruity substance. Good length, with complexity (on fruity, blackberry and chocolate notes) and a very present acidity.
