The nose is spicy and expresses notes of blackberry, pepper and more slightly – spices, associated with small touches of clove as well as fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is mineral and offers juiciness, smoothness, a lovely freshness, good definition, a certain tension, a fine tannic structure, but marked and tight. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly – violet associated with touches of bergamot and clove. The tannins are a little tight and extracted.
