Château La Tour de By Cuvée Héritage Marc Pagès 2022 – Médoc

The nose is powerful, racy and finely tight. It offers concentration, a fine grain, density and expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and more slightly – cornflowerassociated with touches of chocolate as well as fine hints of pod. vanilla and blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of bergamot and almost sage in the background. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced, and offers freshness, juiciness, a mineral frame, good definition, roundness, gourmandise, a certain creaminess in freshness and good balance. The wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/smooth cherry and more slightly – violet and lilac associated with touches of almost roasted-fresh berries as well as hints of liquorice and subtle hints of blond tobacco sugar. A lovely freshness and juiciness, roundness and fattiness. A very discreet hint of torrefaction on the persistence.
