The nose is aromatic and offers a fine power, notes of sweet spices, boysenberry, fresh blueberry and more slightly – toasted notes associated with touches of sweet blond tobacco as well as hints of star anise. The palate is fresh, mineral and offers fruit, freshness, tension. It expresses notes of luscious blackberry, fresh/pulp raspberry and more slightly – toasted notes associated with touches of chocolate as well as hints of vanilla and a fine hint of iodine in the background. The woody/toasted notes are enveloping, a lovely freshness, but the wood dominates a little.
