It reveals notes of juicy Boysenberry, small wild black berries and small notes of pepper associated with touches of sap, fresh lily, fine hints of fresh licorice stick, fresh tobacco as well as a subtle hint of clove and a discreet hint of sense of place/terroir. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave and offers a certain smoothness, tension, precision, lovely energy, delicacy, suavity, power in elegance, lovely racy minerality, energy, a nice flavor, a very discreet hint of maceration as well as a nice tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of small bright/pulp blue fruits as well as hints of sense of place, violet, blond tobacco fresh, sweet spices, with a discreet hint of tobacco tin, bergamot and chocolate. The tannins are supple, fine, elegant and delicate. Nice flavor and deliciousness. A soft finish.
