Château Barre-Gentillo – Vieilles Vignes 2022 – Graves de Vayres

The nose is fruity. There are notes of sweet grapefruit, crushed peach and more slightly mandarin flowers combined with fine hints of crunchy apple. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers freshness, a certain tension, accuracy, a mineral/acidic structure, suavity, creaminess as well as a nice little fattiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, crunchy/juicy peach and small notes of sweet grapefruit associated with a touch of lychee, lemon blossom and a hint of crushed small fruits. An imperceptible almost fresh pink hint on the persistence. Gourmandise.
