Château Le Virou – Sublimus 2022 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers well-executed power, freshness and tension. It reveals notes of cornflower, lily and small notes of small, creamy blue fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as hints of fresh/sweet blond tobacco and a fine hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, tension, accuracy, a little infused side, roundness, a fine airy side, a nice textured substance, a fine creaminess as well as a nice freshness and power distinguished limestone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small creamy/pulp blue fruits and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of creamy raspberry, hints of Bourbon vanilla as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco and chocolate.
