Lauchum 2022 – Toscana

The nose is fruity and offers a silky finish, a slight power, a pretty elegant and delicate finish. It expresses notes of blackberry, morello cherry and more slightly – bright wild blackcurrant, associated with touches of cornflower, strawberry and fine hints of toasted, roasted and a discreet hint of dry local soil. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness and a tangy structure. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blueberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – blackberry associated with touches of violet, star anise as well as fine hints of black olive and a subtle hint of dry olive tree and local dry soil. A subtle hint of pepper in the background. Nice energy and acidity with a fine varietal side in the background.
