Château Moine Vieux 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is flowery, fresh and offers a stretched, finely tight side. It expresses notes of violet, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and more slightly fresh cherry associated with touches of nutmeg, fine hints of fresh spices and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, precision, tension, a certain gourmandise, a little powdery side. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – small pulpy/fresh fruits associated with touches of dark chocolate as well as hints of blond tobacco sweetened with vanilla. A subtle hint of toasted almond in the background.
