The nose is fresh, quite aromatic, precise and offers a stretched side. It expresses notes of small black fruits, cocoa and more slightly – clove/sweet spices associated with a hint of pulpy small fruits, camphor and a very discreet hint of menthol. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, tension, deliciousness, a nice textured side, a little velvety side. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy blackcurrant and, more slightly, cocoa associated with touches of star anise, toasted notes as well as a fine hint of roasting in the background. Good length and definition. The tannins are supple. Delicacy and a nice definition in richness.
