Château Tour des Termes 2022 – Saint Estèphe Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers a certain power, some concentration, fullness. It expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, violet and more slightly – bright garriguette strawberry combined with touches of cardamom, small pulpy fruits, and star anise and a hint of sweet spices, a subtle hint of nutmeg and minerality racy. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, energy, a tangy structure, nice work on the good bitterness in the background, which brings dynamism. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy strawberry, fresh/juicy redcurrants and slight notes of violet associated with a touch of blackcurrant as well as hints of cardamom and toasted notes and fine hints of chocolate. The tannins are supple. Sapidity and gourmandise.
