The nose is fruity and offers power in elegance, a certain intensity in its grain, suppleness and a certain depth. It expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, pulpy garriguette strawberry and more slightly – small wild red berries associated with touches of cardamom, clove, violet as well as a hint of roasted cherry and sweet spices. The palate offers minerality, freshness, smoothness, a certain slight fatness, accuracy, finesse and elegance, a nice dynamism, energy. It expresses notes of juicy blackberry/pulp, crunchy cherry and more slightly – small crunchy red berries associated with touches of cornflower, violet as well as hints of toasted, vanilla and a toasted/caramelized hint. A fine hint of bergamot and star anise in the sappy base. The tannins are elegant, precise and finely soft.
