Château Moulin de Cadet 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is powerful, fresh, precise, frank, gourmand and offers a little coating. It reveals notes of pulpy Boysenberry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of small crushed red fruits associated with touches of small creamy blue fruits as well as hints of liquorice and a hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, a mineral structure, good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, tension, a nice richness in freshness/balance, a little airy creaminess as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of small pulpy/creamy blue fruits associated with touches of star anise, pulpy blueberry, fine salty hints as well as a discreet hint of bergamot, infusion and vanilla. The tannins are elegant and soft.
