Château Badette 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers elegance, radiance as well as very pretty definition. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy black cherry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of small, bright blue fruits associated with touches of licorice, tobacco, fresh pepper as well as fine hints of roasted fruits and a discreet hint of cypress. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, smoothness, a certain finesse, an acidulous/mineral structure, a certain density as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, morello cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of lily, pulpy bigarreau cherry as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco and chocolate. The tannins are supple and fresh.
