The nose is fruity and offers brightness, a certain gourmandise as well as some spiciness. We find notes of Bigarreau cherry, fairly ripe raspberry and slight notes of nutmeg associated with touches of small roasted fruits as well as fine hints of pepper, a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of almost sage. . The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/tangy structure, smoothness, elegance, concentration as well as a certain slight fattiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, violet and small notes of small, fairly ripe/juicy wild red berries associated with fine hints of roasted fruit, bergamot/black tea, spices and a subtle hint tonka bean. The tannins are elegant, distinguished and soft. Freshness, silkiness and precision.
