The nose is fruity and offers a little power and a little infusion side. It expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy wild blackcurrant and, more slightly, pepper associated with touches of fairly ripe or even cooked small fruits as well as hints of cardamom, cloves/spices. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, juiciness, a fresh/acidic frame, tension, straightness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more slightly – quite ripe blackcurrant, associated with touches of roasted red fruits, as well as hints of star anise/licorice, chocolate, vanilla. Volume. The tannins are soft and sapid. Good job on the good bitters.
