The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, a small intensity and good definition. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and, more slightly, cornflower combined with touches of small roasted red fruits as well as hints of lily and fresh cloves. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, accuracy, juiciness, silkiness, some gourmandise, a certain tension and aromatic purity. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/fleshy blackcurrant and more slightly – small bright red berries associated with touches of cornflower as well as hints of plum blossom, toasted almond, cardamom, and with a hint of almost bergamot and vanilla. The tannins are supple and distinguished. A good job on the good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
