The nose offers a slight power, a fine grain and a peppery side. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant and more slightly – licorice, fine hints of roasting, pulpy purple plum as well as hints of fresh sap. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and offers minerality, freshness, tension, a fine powdery touch. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, violet and more slightly – roasted cherry associated with touches of luscious violet plum as well as hints of cardamom, dark chocolate and fine hints of vanilla in the background. Suppleness in the tannins, roundness and freshness. A fine powdery and chocolate side on the finish/persistence.
