Château Saint-Pierre 2022 – Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers elegance as well as a certain straightness in its grain. All in power and finesse. It reveals notes of luscious blackcurrant and small wild black berries associated with touches of pepper, lily/iris, hints of tobacco box, vanilla bean as well as slight hints of roasting and cloves. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, tension, accuracy, harmony, a certain tension, accuracy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and slight hints of violet associated with touches of cornflower, crushed small blue fruits as well as hints of creamy strawberry, chocolate, sweet blond tobacco. and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are elegant and soft. Lovely freshness and smoothness. Nice flavor.
