Château Talbot 2022 – Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fresh, elegant, deep, racy and offers a nice graphite character, a nice racy mineral side as well as delicacy. We find notes of blackberry, lily, lilac and slight notes of small, fairly ripe red fruits associated with touches of blueberries, small creamy fruits as well as hints of graphite, licorice and star anise. The palate is fresh, nicely racy and offers fruit, minerality, an elegant juicy structure, a nice definition, precision, accuracy, savoriness, a discreet noble varietal character, a fine infusion side and a beautiful creaminess. freshness as well as tension. This wine has energy and depth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberries, violet and small notes of small juicy/fresh red berries associated with touches of chocolate, iodized gravel, cardamom as well as hints of nutmeg. The tannins are elegant. Beautiful freshness, juiciness and smoothness with fullness and a shimmering side.
