The nose is fruity, fresh with intensity and power with a side of precision and subtlety. We have notes of pulpy blackcurrant, blackberries and slight notes of bright raspberries associated with touches of crushed cherries as well as hints of bergamot, nutmeg and a fine hint of deep infusion. The palate is pulpy, nicely fresh and mineral, elegant with an airy side full of delicacy and mastery in precision. We have notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, cornflower and more slightly small, fairly ripe, bright red fruits associated with touches of pulpy blueberries as well as hints of star anise and infusion. There is also a note of Bourbon vanilla. The tannins are supple and distinguished. There is sapidity on the finish and on the persistence.
