The nose is pretty with a fine grain. It is elegantly tight with an airy side. We have notes of fairly ripe blackberries, small roasted black fruits and slight notes of violet associated with touches of roasted cherries as well as hints of racy minerality and a note of toasted hazelnuts. The palate is mineral with freshness and controlled power. There is concentration, accuracy and a tangy mineral framework with tension. We have notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, bright blackcurrant and small notes of roasted cherries associated with touches of cornflower, small berries, salty gravel as well as hints of cocoa, cardamom and a note of toast. There is a lovely freshness. The tannins are supple and distinguished.
