The nose is distinguished, mineral with a fine airy character. There are notes of boysenberries, fresh creamy berries and slight notes of violet associated with touches of nutmeg, lily and slight hints of cornflower and star anise. The palate is mineral with freshness and a certain tension, precision and a tangy structure. There is a fine fresh varietal side in the background. There are notes of juicy and luscious blackberries, luscious blackcurrant and slight notes of small fresh crunchy red berries associated with touches of iris, peony as well as a subtle hint of fresh nutmeg. The tannins are supple.
