The nose is elegant, fresh with intensity, roundness and delicacy. We perceive a certain slight richness and a fine depth. We have notes of fairly ripe wild raspberries, bright pulpy boysenberries and more slightly blueberries associated with touches of pepper and fine hints of small bright pulpy red fruits. There are fine notes of spices and a slight hint of bergamot in the background. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. The tasting has elegance and a lovely delicacy. The tangy structure accompanies a fine smoothness and notes of luscious and juicy blackberries, luscious blueberries and more lightly roasted berries associated with touches of liquorice as well as hints of chocolate toast and a fine note of vanilla. The tannins are supple, there is good length. We have fine notes of toasted hazelnuts in the background that appear. It is a wine with freshness, smoothness and balance.
