Château de Roquefort – Cuvée Bellanger 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers concentration, a certain elegance, a slight creaminess as well as depth. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, crushed blueberry and slight notes of violet associated with touches of star anise, fresh pepper as well as a salty hint and a hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, concentration, creaminess in freshness, a nice substance as well as a nice acidulous energy (limestone). On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, small pulpy/bright blue fruits and more slightly small crushed red fruits as well as hints of small pulpy/bright blue fruits as well as hints of tonka bean, torrefaction and with a subtle saline hint. A nice grain on the finish.
